Shirley Duke, a teacher for twenty-five years, has written for children in a variety of markets and will share insights and information about writing for children and what it takes. SCBWI, CW, CBI, CBC, Write4Kids, and Margot Finke: come find out what these acronyms mean and how they can help you learn more about writing for children.

Shirley Duke writes for children of many ages. She is the author of a picture a book, No Bows!, a YA novel, Unthinkable, and eight other commissioned novels for children.
